Elizabeth Vaughan Joins Faculty as Music Coach and Collaborative Pianist

We are delighted to inform you that Elizabeth Vaughan will join our faculty as music coach and collaborative pianist. Elizabeth graduated from Lawrence University with a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance, and from Chicago College of Performing Arts with a master’s degree in viola performance. She began her collaborative piano career in 4th grade as an accompanist for her middle school orchestra, and continued her training in choral and band accompanying as well as vocal and instrumental coaching throughout high school at Interlochen Arts Academy.

Elizabeth is a winner of numerous competitions including the MTNA Young Artist Competition at the state and regional level, and has performed as a soloist with the Lawrence University and University of Tennessee symphony orchestras.

She serves as the collaborative pianist for Downers Grove North High School and as a collaborative pianist for the Naperville Young Singers. She is also an active singer and member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus. In addition to performing and coaching, Elizabeth and her husband maintain a private music studio in Highland Park. She is the proud parent of four year old twins Iris and Heather.
