WINTER CELLO WORKSHOP

We are excited to hold the first cello workshop at WSSTE/NSS in over a decade. Clinicians Julia Wen and Dr. Zachary Preucil will join us on Saturday, January 21 to share their expertise with young cellists. The workshop is open to cellists from early Book 1 through Book 6. Every participant will get a masterclass-style mini-lesson (each student gets a portion of the hour to work on a polished piece with the guest teacher, and then observes the other students' lessons for the remainder of the hour); and a group class focusing on technique and Suzuki repertoire. In addition, students in Book 2 and above have the option of participating in a Creative Ability Development class. CAD is a fun and friendly approach to learning to improvise - students develop tools to express the music that's already inside of them.

To register, please complete the form below. You will receive an email with a PayPal link where you can remit payment. The fee is $50 for the Masterclass + Group Class; $75 for Masterclass + Group Class + Improvisation.
